Implementation of pre-cupping is fundamental for tracing the sensorial profiles of the coffees of the year, which contributes a lot to the better and more efficient logistical planning of the harvesting. We begin the 2020 harvesting in a moment of numerous uncertainties in the world, yet with our hearts filled with hope that everyone's lives will go on, full of possibilities and new opportunities of creating innovative ways, just like the harvests of each year: never the same, but always presenting us with many chances of always doing better things.

In keeping with the movements and ideals of present society, the Caxambu and Aracaçu farms have installed their renewable plants to generate their energy and produce their organic compost. SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM: The sun is a free, inexhaustible, constant, and consistent source of energy – without generating impacts on the environment and, also, abundant in our country. Due to the several economic and environmental advantages offered by solar energy, this renewable resource was implanted at the production units of the Farms. A clean energy source that supplies the demands of the Farms, making them more self-sustainable. ORGANIC WASTE COMPOSTING PLANT: Upholding their commitment to generating their sustainable resources and recycling all of the residues produced in their production system, the Caxambu and Aracaçu Farms manufacture, today, their own organic compost - which provides most of the nutritional package for the coffee plantations and procedures for restructuring soil life. A production of agricultural inputs that strengthens the commitment of the Farms in the production of an agro-ecological, virtuous, regenerative, and healthy coffee farming.

All of the products from Paiol Café are of exclusive rural origin to value the important countryside food heritage of Brazil.
